"the kurajo." is a sake brand created by
female toji (master brewers) and kurabito (female brewers)
from all over Japan.
"the sakeraku." is a unique brand.
This is because "the sakeraku." is a brand launched by designer Katsunori Watanabe. It is a brand that is in sake, but not in sake.
The package design. Label design. Bottle design. Design of the container. Planning and sales. Sales channel development. Export. Tasting bar. Sake bar.
"the sakeraku" has a brand "the kurajo. "the sakeraku." is the company that is responsible for the development of sales channels and exports.
"the sakeraku" brand includes "the kurajo." brand, which is designed and produced by female toji (master brewers) and kurabito (female brewers) from all over
Japan, and exported to Japan and the rest of the world.
The number of breweries in Japan is decreasing every year due to the declining birth rate, but there are currently about 1,500 breweries producing sake.
There used to be a time when women were prohibited, but with reforms in work styles and an increase in female successors, the number of "female toji" has
increased to about 50 throughout the country.
Women are now creating a new culture of sake brewing. They brew sake using the traditional "Kimoto-zukuri" method, which maximizes the flavor of the rice, and
they produce sake that is freshly pressed and unfiltered, or sake that is left to mature for several years to give it the deep flavor naturally produced by the
microorganisms living in the brewery. We are particular about the fine details of sake brewing that are inherent to women. "the kurajo." is the embodiment of this
commitment. Currently, 27 breweries are participating in "the kurajo.
"the sakeraku." trademark has been registered in Japan. In order to sell sake made by female toji to Japan and the world, we have registered the trademarks "the
kurajo" . We have also registered "the kurajo." for China.
