日本酒をパーティーや特別なひと時を演出する飲み物にするプロジェクトです。日本酒が主役であることを念頭に置きながら、日本酒の文化を守ること、日本酒が注がれる時の華やかさを意識して塗っています。ガラスの瓶は一見均一な曲面に見えますが、艶のある漆を塗ると凹凸が見えてきてしまいます。漆を塗り重ね、研いで表面を整えることで、滑らかで美しい曲面に仕上げています。日本酒が大好きなので、お酒を注いでいる場面を想像しながら製作しました。

朱漆で中塗りをした後に、透け漆を塗る。 茶褐色で透明感のある透け漆は、下の朱漆が透けて見え、美しさを増す。透け漆は時間経過とともに褐色が明るくなる性質があり、色の変化を長く楽しめます。漆塗師が丹念につくりあげた異なる表情をもつこの世にひとつだけのもの。ひと手間ひと手間に思いを込め深い輝きを宿していく。

After the middle coat of vermilion lacquer is applied, transparence lacquer is applied. The brownish-brown transparent transparence of the lacquer allows the underlying vermilion lacquer to show through, adding to its beauty. Transparent lacquer has the property of lightening the brown color with the passage of time, so that the change in color can be enjoyed for a long time. This is a one-of-a-kind object with different expressions carefully crafted by a lacquer craftsman. Each step of the process is carefully considered, and a deep radiance is added to the piece.

漆を塗った直後に、錫粉の微粉末を蒔き付け、硬化後、生漆を摺り込む。 銀色の錫粉を漆塗師の技術で濃淡をつけた上に、生漆の茶褐色を重ねることで黄金色に輝き、色と質感の変化を楽しめる。漆塗師が丹念につくりあげた異なる表情をもつ、この世にひとつだけのもの。 ひと手間ひと手間に思いを込め深い輝きを宿していく。

メタリック -METALLIC-

Immediately after the lacquer is applied, fine powder of tin powder is sprinkled on the surface, and after it hardens, raw lacquer is rubbed in. After hardening, raw urushi lacquer is then applied. The silver-colored tin powder is shaded with the skill of a lacquer painter, and the brownish-brown color of the raw urushi lacquer is layered on top, giving it a golden glow and allowing the wearer to enjoy the changes in color and texture. The lacquer painter painstakingly creates a one-of-a-kind piece with a different expression. Each step of the process is carefully considered to create a deep shine.

螺鈿 -RADEN-

貝殻の内側、輝きを放つ真珠色部分を0.2mmほどの厚みにし、漆を塗った直後に蒔き付ける。黒漆で薄く全体に塗り重ね、硬化後、漆表面を研いで磨いて艶を出す「呂色」という工程を経て、美しく変化していく。 最後に生漆の摺り込みと磨きを繰り返し、漆塗師が丹念につくりあげる。 ひと手間ひと手間に思いを込め深い輝きを宿していく。

The inside of the shell, the pearl-colored part that radiates brilliance, is made about 0.2 mm thick and sprinkled immediately after the lacquer is applied. The entire surface is then covered with a thin layer of black lacquer. After hardening, the lacquer surface is polished by grinding to a glossy finish, a process called "roiro", which changes it beautifully. Finally, the lacquer painter painstakingly creates the lacquer by repeating the process of rubbing and polishing the raw lacquer. The lacquerware is then polished and polished again, and finally, the lacquer painter painstakingly creates a deep shine.
