1912年、男山本店は日本有数の港まち・宮城県気仙沼に創業いたしました。
以来、美しい自然と豊富な食材に恵まれたこの地で、100年以上にもわたって酒造りの歴史を刻みつづけてまいりました。
これからもずっと、海と空とが蒼く蒼く染まるこのまちの風景のような酒を、造りつづけてまいります。

気仙沼の地酒を造りつづける「造り手」として、私たちは良い酒造りのための努力を惜しみません。
良い酒造りとは造って終わりのものではなく、造った先にはいつも顔の見える「飲み手」がいます。
そのひとりひとりの顔が、舌が、言葉が、私たちの酒をさらに鍛えてくれています。
「造り手」と「飲み手」のこの繋がりをしっかりと感じている私たちが造ることで、酒はますます旨くなります。

私たちの酒は、繋がりの酒です。人との繋がり、地域との繋がり、
気仙沼の自然との繋がり。
そうしたすべての繋がりが繋がることで、私たちの酒は旨くなります。
この港町・気仙沼に創業したのは一九一二年のこと。それから百年を経て、
私たちはますます、まちと人と強く結びつこうとしています。
良い酒を、もっと良い酒を。気仙沼の地酒の「造り手」として私たちはこれからも
努力を惜しみません。
