One of the breweries that continues to produce sake in Kesennuma,

a town that has long flourished as one of Japan’s leading fishing ports.
Founded in 1912 (the first year of the Taisho era)̶we remain committed to our guiding principle of continuing to brew “sake that connects nature and people, and people with one another,” while never forgetting our respect for nature and making the most of the techniques we have inherited. Although we suffered extensive damage during the Great East Japan Earthquake (2011), including the complete destruction of our headquarters, we were able to successfully rebuild. Thanks to the support of many people both in and outside Kesennuma, we are able to continue brewing sake to this day.
